Baffle blocks play a crucial role in regulating water flow and preventing erosion, ensuring the stability and longevity of the spillway. Based on inspections conducted, it has been observed that several baffle blocks require immediate replacement due to significant damage and degradation. The main tasks include:? Constructing and maintaining upland temporary access/haul roads for work access. No fill within the channel or stilling basins will be permitted.? Removing riprap, coarse aggregate, silt, debris, and other foreign material within the stilling basin around the baffle blocks.? Replacing displaced baffle blocks as per the Plans and Specifications provided.? Restoring any constructed or damaged access/haul roads used during the performance of the project.Heyburn Lake is a reservoir on Polecat Creek in Creek County, Oklahoma. It is about 15 miles (24 km) southwest of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Tiger and Brown Creeks also drain into the lake. The nearest town is Kellyville, Oklahoma.
