THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. Respondents will be notified of the results of the evaluation upon request; however, only limited information may be made publicly available. CONTRACT INFORMATION: The Tulsa District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, (USACE – Tulsa) plans to issue one (1) solicitation to include the following: Lift Device Repair, Testing, and Certification – El Dorado Lake, Kansas Lift Device Testing and Certification – Council Grove Lake, Kansas Lift Device Testing and Certification – Elk City Lake, Kansas Nature of Work: The contractor shall be able to provide labor, equipment, and materials needed to transport, modify, repair, test, certify, and warranty the Bulkhead Lifting beams utilized for the placement of the Emergency Bulkhead (Weight 14,000 lbs). Final product will result in a fully functioning lifting device for the emergency bulkhead that travels the length of the bulkhead channel to the depth where contact would be made with the bulkhead without binding within the channel tracks. Place of Performance: Various lakes in Kansas. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541380 Testing Laboratories and Services which has a small business size standard of $16.5M. The official announcement citing the solicitation number will be issued on SAM at www.sam.gov.
