The Contractor shall provide all plant, materials, equipment, labor, instruments, tools, Subcontractors, supervision, management, per diem, and travel necessary to complete all work in accordance with the statement of work (SOW), attached drawings, specifications, and all other contract documents and requirements. In general, this Scope of Work specifies the contractor to replace the 24-inch dresser coupling. Repaint all 16-inch and 24-inch diameter pipe and fittings and adjustable valve supports in the domestic water supply manhole. Complete the "future" valve, piping, and concrete work shown on drawing C159-241.1 PART PLAN AT MANHOLE and SECTION B-B. Reference drawings C159-162, C159-163, C159-211.1. After the 24-inch pipe leaves the manhole, transition to 12-inch steel pipe, and daylight the 12-inch pipe into a contractorconstructed concrete headwall with pipe invert at elevation 1236.5 feet. Plumb the 12-inch pipe so that the discharge flange face is parallel to the vertical face of the headwall. Headwall shall be L-shaped and have drain tile the full length. L-shaped wall shall be 13 feet by 5 feet. The 12-foot face shall be parallel to the manhole headwall. The 4-foot face shall strengthen and stabilize the wall and protect the flange from backfill topography. The 13-foot section shall be dowelled into the wall of the stilling basin; the top of L-shaped wall shall be flush with the basin wall. Top of 12-inch flange shall be 1 foot from top of L-shaped headwall. Bottom of 12-inch flange shall be 3 feet from top of footing. Allow 2 to 3 inches of space between the 12-inch flange and the concrete headwall for installing nuts. Install 12-inch blind flange and gasket with stainless steel bolts.
