The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Tulsa District has been tasked to solicit for and award a contract to Install Warning Signs on RS Kerr Lock and Dam Number 15, Waterways and Banks; Sallisaw, Oklahoma (Le Flore County). The firm-fixed price proposed project will be competitively solicited in accordance with FAR 14, Sealed Bidding, using the Lowest Price selection process. The scope includes work to be performed by the contractor to provide all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and supplies to procure and install signs at RS Kerr L&D No. 15. Workmanship shall be of the highest grade and in accordance with the best modern practices to conform to the specifications for the item of work being furnished. Foundations for the signs include augured pier, spread footing, and post mount to structure. Contractor will be responsible for transportation of all materials that shall be delivered to the site undamaged and stored out of contact with the ground. Materials that are damaged during the delivery or improper storage shall be replaced at no cost to the government. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of construction for this project is: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Estimated duration of the project is 160 calendar days. The North American Industry Classification System code for this procurement is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The size standard is $39.5M. Small Businesses are reminded under FAR 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting, that they must perform at least 15% of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with their own employees for general construction-type procurement.
