The United States Army Corps of Engineers is performing market research on available sources to overhaul two (2) butterfly valves at Lake Tenkiller Hydro Powerhouse. This is expected to be a Fixed Price, 100% Small Business Set Aside under NAICS 237990 utilizing FAR part 36, Construction, FAR part 12 Commercial Acquisition and FAR part 13 Simplified Acquisition. Tenkiller Dam is located at RR 1 Box 259P Gore, Oklahoma 74435-9512. Building of Tenkiller Dam was started in 1947 and began flood control and power production in 1953. USACE is seeking qualified, experienced sources capable of performing work to overhaul two 180" (inch) diamter pnestock butterfly valves at Lake Tenkiller located in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma. The contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, labor, instruments, tools, subcontractors, supervision and management to complete all work required by this contract. The scope of work includes but is not limited to the following Removal and replacement of metal body seals with elastromeric seals. Removal and replacement of metal disk seals. Overhaul of valve disk surface and valve body internal survace, including the removal of loose material and recoated to prevent scouring and corrosion. Clean and paint valve body external surface. Replace valve stem seals and inspect bearings. Replace butterfly valve lubrication sytems to include but not limited to grease pumps, distributing manifolds, pressure gauges, grease tube routing and removal/disposal of exisiting grease.
