The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the removal and replacement of all hydraulic fluid contained within the Toronto Sluice Gate Hydraulic Operating system, inspection of main storage tank for hydraulic system after fluid removal, installation of hydraulic tank breather system, replacement of 2 electric motor driven hydraulic pumps and motors utilized to operate the hydraulic system, inspect, test, and if needed replace all valves utilized to maintain optimal hydraulic pressure throughout the hydraulic system, replace or install hydraulic fluid filter components, calibrate or replace 7 Amp 8333 0-2000 P.S.I pressure gauges, and complete a pressure/leak test of the sluice gate hydraulic operating system. Specific information related to each task is listed below. At all times during the period of work, there must be 1 hydraulic pump and motor connected to the system and capable of being used to operate the sluice gates in case of a sluice gate release is necessary. This will also require a minimum of 250 gallons of hydraulic fluid be readily available onsite to be deployed into the system to operate the sluice gates. See the attached solicitation for full details. This requirement is being solicited exclusively to Small Business, and will be awarded under FAR Part 13 procedures. A site visit will be held on August 27, 2021 at 11:00am. Vendors are strongly encouraged to attend.
