Maintenance Dredging, Delaware River, Philadelphia to Trenton
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract for maintenance dredging of approximately 500,000 cubic yards of sediment in the Delaware River, Philadelphia to Trenton, with an option for an additional 70,000 cubic yards from the Fairless Turning Basin. Work includes mechanical dredging with placement at the Biles Island Disposal Area (and Money Island Disposal Area for the option), both in Falls Township, Pennsylvania. The estimated budget for this project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The period of performance is 240 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, with all dredging required to be completed by March 15, 2027. Bidders must be registered in SAM and PIEE to submit bids.
