HEATING, VENTILATING, & AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS REPAIR- PA056 Lancaster HVAC The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District intends to award one qualified 8(a) qualified small business a Firm-Fixed Price award for a construction requirement for Heating, Ventilating, & Air Conditioning Systems Repair for PA056 Lancaster USARC located at: U.S. Army Reserve Center, 1135 Ranck Mill Rd Lancaster, PA 17602 A description of the type of work within the SOW describes: “Consists of two buildings which are the USARC Training Building and the Organizational Maintenance Shop (OMS). Work under this contract shall occur at the Training Building. Design and construct a HVAC system, associated power distribution circuits, and suspended ceiling systems at the Training Building. Remove the portions indicated of the existing HVAC system, associated power distribution circuits, and the suspended ceiling system. Provide temporary heating and cooling when one, both, or the other are unavailable due to construction activities. Design and construction include, but is not limited to, the following equipment: split Direct Expansion (DX) variable air volume air handling units; condensing units; piping; ductwork; insulation; Variable Air Volume (VAV) boxes; hydronic terminal units; Direct Digital Control (DDC) system; conduit; conductors; overcurrent protection; safety disconnect switches; acoustical ceiling tiles; and suspended ceiling grid system. See Parts 4, 5, and 6 for technical requirements.” The contract award will be made using One-Step Selection Procedures as described in the solicitation that will be advertised on or around 30 May 2024. Qualified 8(a) firms will submit a conforming proposal in accordance with the solicitation. Please Note: This will be a one-step design-build requirement. The factors that will be evaluated as part of this requirement will be described in the forthcoming solicitation. The solicitation will be open to 8(a) qualified small businesses with NAICS 238220. The Construction Magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Qualified 8(a) firms will describe their past performance and project experience in design and construction of similar projects in accordance with the solicitation. The Government will require a complete and acceptable HVAC system in accordance with the scope of work. This requirement is subject to FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds. ***Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
