The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award a firm fixed-price contract for maintenance dredging and beachfill placement in the Townsends Inlet to Cape May Inlet, New Jersey. The base work involves placing approximately 695,000 cubic yards of sand along the coastlines of Avalon and Stone Harbor, along with dune re-grading and planting. The contract includes four optional quantities of additional sand for each community. The period of performance for the base work and all options is 167 calendar days. The estimated cost range for the project is $25,000,000 to $100,000,000.
