NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price intent of this Scope of Work is to modify the Boat Deck steel to provide a suitable foundation for the installation of a new Government Furnished Hiab X-HIDUO 082E-3 on the Starboard side Boat Deck Aft, on the Dredge MCFARLAND. The Place of Performance is FT. Mifflin, PA 19153 Upon completion of these structural modifications the Contractor shall then mount the crane to the deck in accordance with reference drawings, templating from crane base. The Contractor shall remove the controls from the existing station and modify the station to accept the new controls. The Contractor shall also remove the existing 15 HP Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU), remove the foundation and replace with a new foundation using suitable angle and chocks and drill mounting holes to be templated from new HPU. The crane systems and interconnections will be completed by Factory Authorized Hiab Representatives after the crane is mounted, under a separate contract. Commissioning and Training will be provided to the crew by these same Factory Authorized Hiab Representatives, under separate contract. The NAICS code is 336611, Ship building and repairing.
