This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 and Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Proposals are being requested and a formal written solicitation will be included as part of this submission. (SEE ATTACHED SOLICITATION). This office will not accept any telephonic, written, or faxed requests for a copy of the solicitation. The official media of distribution for this RFQ is the web. Contractors may download the solicitation (including any drawings/specifications) and any amendments via the beta.SAM web site at https://beta.sam.gov/. It is the Offerors’ responsibility to monitor the beta.SAM web site for any amendments. The Solicitation Number for this acquisition is W912BU20Q0019 and a separate attachment (SF1449) is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-101, dated 10-26-2018. Clauses and Provisions are available on line at http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dars/dfars/index.htm This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business; the NAICS code is 333618 with a size standard of 1,500 employees. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award a firm fixed price contract for the contractor to provide Brand Name Only Yamaha New Outboard Engines for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District Survey Section Small Vessels in accordance with Scope of Work. (See the attached detailed Solicitation, and Brand Name Only J&A). Award will be made on the basis of Lowest Price. The anticipated period of performance shall be 14 days after receipt of award. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-05, dated 27 February 2020. FAR Provisions and Clauses applicable to this acquisition are incorporated in their entirety.
