This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is a request for quotations (RFQ) .The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-97. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541990, with a small business size standard of $15,000,000. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - North Atlantic Philadelphia District is seeking to acquire services to inspect, repair and recertify the firefighting system onboard the Dredge McFarland. All interested companies shall provide quotations for the following: Specifications for Inspection, Testing and Recertification of the firefighting system onboard the Dredge McFARLAND. Description of Project: Inspection, testing and recertification of fixed, semi-portable and independent CO2 systems; all portable fire extinguishers, the Ansul fire suppression system in the galley and the fixed CO2 system on the Launch. The fire detection system panel will also be replaced, and the fire detection system tested, as a part of the recertification process.
