Project Description: Maintenance Dredging Delaware River, Philadelphia to the Sea The proposed procurement is unrestricted, NAICS 237990 with a magnitude of construction of more than $10,000,000. Description of Work: Contract work will consist of maintenance dredging of the Delaware River, Philadelphia to the Sea. All dredging will be performed to the specified required depth plus 1' allowable over depth. The Maintenance dredging shall be performed as contour dredging. The contract will provide for dredging up to 25' outside the channel edge in the Delaware River. Dredging work assignment station to station Marcus Hook 117+000 to 129+000 available to 46' (650,000cy) available to 47'(800,000cy). New Castle 225+000 to 237+500 to 46' (575,000cy) and 47' (700,000cy). Deepwater Point 187+000 to 200+ 000 to 46' (800,000cy) to 47' (1,000,000cy). Base Bid Totals 2,125,000cy and 2,650,000cy. Pedricktown South and Killcohook Area #2 will be the available disposal areas for this contract. Option 1 Christiana River: dredging will be performed to the specified required depth plus 1' allowable over depth. 38'(120,000cy) to 39'(170,000cy) Option 2 Bellevue/Cherry Island: dredging will be performed to the specified required depth plus 1' allowable over depth. 46'(150,000cy) to 47'(200,000cy) Option 3 to remove obstructions from the Deleware River Solicitation No. W912BU-19-B-0021 will be issued on or about 23 August 2019 with a bid opening date on or about 23 September 2019. The period of performance is approximately 120 calendar days. Solicitation documents, plans and specifications will only be available via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) homepage located at https://www.fbo.gov/. Registration for plans and specifications should be made via FBO Internet homepage and hard copies will not be available. No written or fax requests will be accepted. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor FBO for any amendments. Also, contractors who receive a federal contract of $100,000.00 are required by legislation (FAR 22.1310(b)) to submit an annual VETS-100 Report on your employment of targeted veterans. All contractors must be registered in the DODs System for Award Management (SAM) database as required by DFARS 204.7300. Davis Bacon rates will be applicable to the construction and bonding is required. Please review all bonds and accompanying documents required to be submitted.
