Responses to this request will not be returned. Not responding to this sources sought does not preclude participation in any future potential solicitation. It is the intent of the Contracting Office to use this information for market research purposes only pursuant to FAR Part 10 (Market Research). The Government is issuing this Source Sought to identify resources available and interested parties for the procurement of a Catamaran Aluminum Crewboat. The survey is being conducted to determine the interest of industry within NAICS 336611- Ship Building and Repairing, and establish that there are adequate Large and/or Small Business (HUBZONE, 8(a) or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business) contractors that will provide a Catamaran Aluminum Crewboat. Pursuant to FAR Part 6 and FAR Part 19, competition and set-aside decisions may be based on the results of this market research. This notice in no way obligates the Government to any further action. Requirements for this source sought notice is found in attachment 1- Source Sought Requirements. The Government WILL NOT PAY for the provision of any information, nor will it compensate any respondents for the development of any such information. In accordance with (IAW) FAR 3.104-4 contractor information may be disclose only to authorize personnel. Please NO proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response to this Sources Sought Notice unless contractor deems absolutely necessary; then, it should follow FAR 52.215-1(e) restriction on disclosure and use of data. At this time, solicitation for the crewboat may be released in Fiscal Year 2021 via the Contract Opportunities website, beta.SAM.gov.
