PLEASE DISREGARD ANY AND ALL ATTACHMENTS UNDER THAT ANNOUNCEMENT AND PROCEED WITH THE ATTACHMENTS FOUND WITH THIS NOTICE IN ORDER TO DEVELOP YOUR BID** The Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, is interested in awarding one (1) Firm Fixed Price Contract to include but is not limited to all work required for four test wells to be made permanent water supply wells including construction associated with installation of four precast pump houses, well pumps, piping, controls and all associated infrastructure including intrusion detection, power/emergency power, communications and transmission lines. Upgrades to the existing water treatment facility including treatment system upgrades, and adding a restroom and underground waste storage tank are also required. The effort includes decommissioning of four existing wells and well head protection of another well. Excavation within a known UXO area requires MEC clearance. No other notification to firms for this project will be made. Estimated cost range of the project is $5,000,000.00 to $10,000,000.00. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required for 100% of contract award. The NAICS Code for this project is 237110 and the small business size standard is $36.5, Million. Solicitation Number W912BU-18-B-0004 will be issued on or about 20 November 2018 with a bid opening date of 20 December 2018. The magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The NAICS Code for this project is 237110 with a size standard of $36.5 million. Solicitation documents, plans and specifications will only be available via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) homepage located at https://www.fbo.gov/. Plans and specifications should be downloaded via FBO Internet homepage and hard copies will not be available. No written or fax requests will be accepted. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor FBO for any amendments. Also, contractors who receive a federal contract of $100,000.00 are required by legislation (FAR 22.1310(b)) to submit an annual VETS-4212 Report on your employment of targeted veterans. All contractors must be registered in the DODs System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov as required by DFARS 204.1103. Davis Bacon rates will be applicable to the construction and bonding is required. Please review all bonds and accompanying documents required to be submitted.
