Mather Fueling System Repairs
The project involves modifying a 12,000-gallon F-24 horizontal aboveground storage tank and the surrounding fueling area. Tank work includes installing a sampling/gauging hatch and clock-type mechanical gauge, recoating the exterior, replacing collision barriers, adding a full-length catwalk, and replacing audible/visual alarms. Site work includes repairing and positively sloping the remote containment basin drainage pipe, replacing asphalt near the fueling facility and refueler parking concrete, and replacing asphalt with concrete near the truck offload area. Fuel system upgrades include replacing the dispenser fuel monitor with a non-coalescing filter, installing a hand-pumped water draw-off system, upgrading the ATG from Veeder Root TLS-350 Plus to TLS-450 Plus, replacing the POL building in kind at the same location, and moving the generator outside the compartmentalized unit.
