Please do not submit proposals, they will not be reviewed or accepted. The project scope is to repair POL Operations and Fuel Facilities Buildings 741 and 744. Facility 741- (Petroleum Operations Building) Category Code 467650 ? (MR)) ? This project includes renovation of Building 741 POL Operations (Ops) to provide spaces and functional programming for the Fuel Support Command, Fuels Management, and Auxiliary operations support. The Ops Building renovations must be accommodated within the existing building footprint, however, the ceiling height must be raised to meet code requirements. A new roof must be provided with improved drainage and thermal envelope. Replace building HVAC equipment and distribution systems. Replace building water heating equipment, distribution systems, and fixtures. Replace building electrical and communications/data system to accommodate the proposed building renovations. The existing fire alarm systems throughout the facility must be demolished and replaced with a fire alarm and mass notification system and new life safety systems. Facility 744- (Fuel Facility Lab Building) Category Code 467652 ? (MR) ? This project includes demolition of Building 744 and the construction of a Type C++ Fuels lab. Repair by replacement of Building 744 has been authorized. The Fuels lab will include the laboratory, workstations and open office areas, and restrooms for lab staff. Provide building electrical and data communications, complete building plumbing, HVAC, and Fire Protection. This is under consideration to set aside for WOSB although it will depend upon the sources sought results and the Market Research.
