The Government is procuring this contract in accordance with the Brooks A-E Act as implemented in FAR Subpart 36.6 and will select firms for negotiation based on demonstrated competence and qualifications for the required work. The services will consist of preparation of studies, analysis, design services, and construction support services for Military airfield projects CONUS Wide. The Government intends to negotiate and award a target of four (4) indefinite delivery contracts (IDCs), with a five-year ordering period (5-year base and NO option period) and $36,000,000 in shared capacity. The MATOCS under this suite will also contain a priced six (6) month extension period that can be exercised in accordance with FAR Clause 52.217-8, “Option to Extend Services”, if determined to be in the best interest of the Government. Work will be issued by negotiated firm-fixed price task orders. The Government anticipates that future task orders will range from $25,000 to $1,000,000. Any changes regarding this requirement will be revised through this posting.

The Government will limit task orders under this A-E MATOC to firm-fixed price (FFP). This A-E MATOC will have a five (5) year period of performance ordering period with a shared capacity of $36M. These replacement contracts will provide professional Architect – Engineer (AE) airfield design services in support of the Transportation Systems Mandatory Center of Expertise (TS – MCX). The AE MATOCs will support Department of Defense (DoD) Military Installations worldwide as part of the TSC – MCX mission.
