District Warehouse Roof Replacement Omaha Nebraska Pre-Solicitation On or about 31 July 2024, the Government intends to issue a solicitation for District Warehouse Roof Replacement, Omaha Nebraska. The solicitation will close on or about 30 August 2024. The solicitation is restricted to Small Businesses. Site Visit (only include if applicable): A Site Visit will be scheduled and additional information regarding the site visit will be provided in the solicitation via FAR Clause 52.236-27. Project Description: This project is to provide roofing assembly replacement and repairs to the existing MRPO Warehouse building features that are in a failing or near failing state. The roof replacement and repairs to the building will restore specific components to new conditions and enable continued use of the building capable of providing regular daily activities for which the facility was intended when initially constructed. The repaired facility will accommodate approximately 21 permanently assigned personnel. The roof gross square footage (rounded) is approximately 40,000 SF. The facility includes administrative/office space, vehicle storage, warehouse storage space, and building support spaces. The general concept behind the roof replacement and repair is to match the existing roof features as they currently exist, and repair associated items such as eave flashings and insulation envelope that are failing and causing environmental and safety concerns. The facility roof replacement and repairs will permit the facility to have an additional 25-year useful design life before re-use/re-purpose, and a 50-year building replacement life. The Contractor will be required to commence work upon receipt of contract award and complete the work 90 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, this is subject to change after solicitation issuance. Estimated Construction Costs (only include if applicable): The estimated construction cost of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
