Work includes providing trees, planting, staking, guying, and installation of no less than 66 stems. Trees shall be watered and maintained through the plant establishment period (see Attachment 1). This is a fixed price, performance-based acquisition where the government defines and measures desired outcomes, while contractor methods are generally not constrained or directed. The period of performance shall be 15 months from date of award. This includes a 12 month maintenance and watering period. The contractor shall perform all work under this contract using his or her own forces except as provided in Paragraph 1.4.2 Subcontracting. Employees who perform this work shall be qualified persons on the contractor’s own payroll.
