On or about 06 July 2023, the Government intends to issue a solicitation for “Prescribed Burn Contract for Garrison Project: Lake Sakakawea, Pipestem, and Bowman-Haley Projects.” The solicitation will close on or about 07 August 2023. Project Description: This is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm Fixed-Price service contract to provide prescribed burning services at the Garrison Project, ND, including the Pipestem and Bowman-Haley projects, ND. The primary goal is to properly eliminate 100% of existing vegetation within areas of interest via prescribed burning. Follow-up maintenance after the prescribed burn will not be required as the work will be completed the day of the burn. The work will not be deemed complete until 100% of all embers and burning vegetation have been extinguished. Each assigned prescribed burn area task order will be presented to the contractor with a map of the area. The Period of Performance for this effort is from the Date of Contract Award through 31 October 2027. NAICS Code: The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for solicitation is 115310, Support Activities for Forestry, with a size standard for Small Business of $34,000,000 (Exception 2, Fuels Management Services).
