The government will be evaluating the scope of work and how it affects the ongoing Major Unit Rehabilitation project that is ongoing. The intention of this notice is to stop the bidding process to reduce any impact on prospective bidders until a decision to move forward or to cancel the requirement can be determined. If it is determined that this requirement will be cancelled, you will be notified in writing. If it is decided to proceed, an Amendment will be issued, and a new Bid Due date will be established. A decision will be made NLT 25 May 2023. All PROJNET inquiries will remain open until a decision is made. As always, the government appreciates you interest in supporting hydropower requirement and we hope to have a decision as soon as possible. (Deer Park, WA) Schuman Electric LLC (Geddes, SD) **ADVERTISEMENT IS MISNUMBERED - This acquisition is W9128F23B0008.** **21 FEB 23 - AM0001 posted** **13 FEB 23 - Site Visit sign-in and agenda are posted.** SOLICITATION - Fort Randall Dam SD Installation of Powerhouse Flowmeters Solicitation if for the purchase and installation of 49 flow meters for various locations throughout the Fort Randall (FR) Dam Powerhouse. Flowmeters will be used to provide continual monitoring of generating unit permissive, alarms, and real time monitoring of cooling water flow rates. The work will include the purchase pipe welding, electrical wiring, scaffolding, and piping work for instalation of flowmeters. This solicitation is the Step-One of a Two-Step Sealed Bid process. Step-One is a request for technical proposals only and shall not include prices or pricing information. Step-One technical submissions will be reviewed for technical acceptability only. Those contractors who recived an acceptable rating will be asked to participate in the Step-Two bid process. Bid bonds are not required to be submitted with the Step-One technical proposal.
