THIS IS NOT A FORMAL SOLICITATION. This announcement constitutes a PRE-SOLICITATION notice in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2. On or about 9 July 2021, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District hereby announces its intent to issue a solicitation for “Cedar Tree Control at Gavin’s Point”. The solicitation will close on or about 30 July 2021. This solicitation is OPEN TO SMALL BUSINESSES. Site Visit: The site visit is tentatively scheduled for 13 July 2021 at 9 a.m. Address: SD-19, Vermillion, SD 57069 Project Description: This project consists of shredding/mulching in place all eastern red cedar trees, from a minimum of 34 acres and up to a maximum of 50 acres at North Alabama Bend. The Period of Performance for this effort is approximately 108 Days. NAICS Code: The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for solicitation is 561730, Landscaping Services, with a size standard for Small Business of $8M.
