THIS IS NOT A FORMAL SOLICITATION. This announcement constitutes a PRE-SOLICITATION notice in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2. On or about 28 July 2021, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District hereby announces its intent to issue a solicitation for “Replace Oil Room CO2 System”. The solicitation will close on or about 26 August 2021. This solicitation is set-aside 100% for SMALL BUSINESSES. Site Visit: The site visit is tentatively scheduled on 05 August 2021 at 10:00 am Address: 399 Powerhouse Rd (Ft. Randall Project), Pickstown, SD 57367. **Update** A site visit is scheduled for 5 August 2021 at 10:00am (CDT). Contractors interested in seeing the site need to make reservation with Evan Schmitz by e-mail at Evan.J.Schmitz@usace.army.mil by 3:00pm (CDT) on 4 August 2021 to confirm attendance to site visit. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: This contract will include removal of the existing CO2 system and installation of a clean agent fire suppression system for the Lube Oil Storage Room. The contractor will remove and dispose of all piping and components associated with the CO2 system except for the CO2 cylinders. The Contractor will supply and install all equipment and controls to make a functional clean agent system. NAICS Code: The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for solicitation is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, with a size standard of $16.5M.
