On or about 26 FEB 2021, the Government intends to issue a solicitation for “GP Refuse Collection”. The solicitation will close on or about 11 MAR 2021. The solicitation is restricted to Small Businesses. Project Description: This is a non-personal services contract to provide refuse collection and removal at the Gavins Point Project, Cedar County, Nebraska. Services include contractor-supplied refuse bins and proper disposal of solid waste material off Government property. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the contractor who, in turn is responsible to the government. This is a fixed priced, performance-based service contract where the Government defines and measures desired outcomes, while contractor methods are generally not constrained or directed. The Period of Performance for this effort is a 12-month base year (April 1, 2021 – March 31, 2022) + four (4) 12 month-option years. NAICS Code: The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for solicitation is 562111 – Solid Waste Collection, with a size standard for Small Business of $41.5M.
