On or about 25 March 2021, the Government intends to issue a solicitation for Audubon Bend Gravel Road Repairs at Gavin’s Point Area Project, Cedar, NE. The solicitation will close on or about 23 April 2021. The solicitation is 100% Small business set aside. Project Description: The contractor shall be responsible for all labor, equipment, and materials (except those explicitly provided by the Government) required to repair approximately 0.87 miles of gravel road damaged by severe flooding. Road repairs include blading the road surface to smooth out scour holes and rebuild the crown, resetting an existing culvert, reconstructing an eroded area that covered the existing culvert, installing a new culvert (provided by USACE) into an eroded area, reconstructing the road surface over the new culvert, and bringing in gravel to place along the road surface. NAICS Code: The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for solicitation is 237310 - Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, with a size standard for Small Business of $39.5 Million Obtaining Solicitation Documents: Solicitation documents will be posted to the web via Federal Business Opportunities (beta.sam.gov).
