Pre-Solicitation: On or about 15 August 2021, the Government intends to issue an Invitation for Bids for the Replacement of subsurface drainage system in the Oahe Switchyard, Oahe Dam Project, South Dakota. The solicitation will close on or about 15 SEPTEMBER 2021. The solicitation is restricted 100% to Small Businesses. Site Visit: Information concerning the Site Visit will be provided with the issuing of the solicitation. Project Description: Work requires removal of the exisitng subsurface drainage system and emplacement of new subsurface drainage system with perforated and solid PVC pipe, pipe casing under roadways, aggregate material for pipe bedding, cover aggregate, and supply/installation of new gate valves. Due to close proximity to various switchyard components, care must be taken during construction so as to not damage nearby structures, electrical components, grounding mat, and underground utilities. Estimated Construction Costs: The estimated construction cost of this project is Between $400,000 and $1,000,000.
