UPDATE: Advertisement has been delayed. Anticipation is that Advertisement will be on or about 7 OCTOBER 2020 for solicitation for “Lower Brule Natural Resource Protection Ecosystem Restoration”. Closing Date anddn time will be determines at time of advertisement. Pre-Solicitation On or about 23 SEPTEMBER 2020, the Government intends to issue a solicitation for “Lower Brule Natural Resource Protection Ecosystem Restoration”. The solicitation will close on or about 23 OCTOBER 2020. The solicitation is restricted 100% to Small Businesses. Site Visit: Site Visit details will be provided with the release of the solicitation Project Description: This construction project is a Section 203 Tribal Partnership Program Project. Therefore, this is the first construction project for Omaha District. This project will be for placement of a Breakwater structure (placement of geotextile, aggregate surface course and clay fill) to include necessary quarried stone and spalls per specifications and drawings. The Base requirement will be for 500 Linear Feet of structure with two options. Each option will include an additional 500 linear feet of breakwater structure. Total requirement with base and option will total 1500 feet of breakwater structure necessary quarried stone and spalls per specifications and drawings The Contractor will be required to commence work upon receipt of contract award and complete the work 150 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, this is subject to change after solicitation issuance. Estimated Construction Costs: The estimated construction cost of this project is Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. NAICS Code: The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for solicitation is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a size standard for Small Business of $36.5M.
