On or about 17 September 2020, the Government intends to issue a solicitation for Gavins Point - Outside Maintenance Bldg #2 and #4 Insulation. The solicitation will close on or about 25 September 2020. The solicitation is 100% Small business set aside. Project Description: Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor and materials required to insulate approximately 4,100 sf of interior walls and ceiling of the Butler building and 10,100 sf of Building 2 located at the Gavins Point Project Maintenance Yard. Approximate quantities to be verified by the contractor. Material shall be a Close–cell polyurethane foam spray material providing an R-19 value on walls and ceiling. Product shall be installed as per the manufactures specification. Also each building has 8 Translucent Roof Panels approximately 2’X8’ (16 total) that need to be removed and replaced with metal roof panels prior to insulating the building interiors NAICS Code: The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for solicitation is 238310, Drywall and insulation contractors, with a size standard for Small Business of $16.5 Million Obtaining Solicitation Documents: Solicitation documents will be posted to the web via Federal Business Opportunities (beta.sam.gov).
