Right Tailrace Recreation Area, Big Bend Dam, Lyman County, South Dakota DRAWINGS ATTACHED ON 14 September 2020 The sidewalk approach to the existing handicap fishing pier has suffered from erosion during high water events. Settlement and undercutting has caused portions of the sidewalk panels to fail, which could facilitate inadequate ADA accessibility to the fishing pier. This work will consist of constructing two new cast-in-place concrete footings with pier caps at the locations and dimensions shown on the drawings. An existing aluminum gangway will be onsite and must be attached to the newly constructed pier caps per the specifications and drawings. Additional work will include sidewalk installation to allow safe access from the sidewalk to the new gangway.
