Project Description: This project is for a non-personal services contract to provide the following services to be performed at Garrison Dam/Lake Sakakawea, Dunn County, North Dakota and will be administered by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps): a. Coordination with Corps on necessary permits and compliance. b. Exhumation of 29 depressions located near Lake Sakakawea. It is anticipated that about half of the depressions are graves with headstones and caskets, it is unknown if the remaining depressions are graves/burials. c. Relocation/reburial of all human remains exhumed. d. Cemetery plots at Benson Family Cemetery for all human remains exhumed e. Headstones for each plot. The Contractor will be required to commence work upon receipt of contract award and complete the work 18 months after receipt of Notice to Proceed. This is subject to change after solicitation issuance.
