The solicitation will close on or about 7 April 2020. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small businesses. Project Description: The Gavins Point Project is a Multi-Purpose Civil Works Project located on the Missouri River. Gavins Point Dam creates the 31,400-acre Lewis and Clark Lake, a popular regional recreational destination. Annual public visitation averages over 1.25 million people to Lewis and Clark Lake. The purpose of this contract is to continue the proper successful maintenance and upkeep of public grounds and facilities for project operations and the visiting public. This is a non-personal services contract to provide lawn mowing and trimming services. Services include the mowing and manicuring of grass and trimming around trees, picnic tables, benches, facilities and other areas within the designated work units. The government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the contractor who, in turn is responsible to the government. This is a fixed priced, performance based service contract where the government defines and measures desired outcomes, while contractor methods are generally not constrained or directed. The Period of Performance for this effort is a 12-month base year + four (4) period.
