On or about 29 May 2020, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) – Omaha District, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Missouri River Bank Stabilization and Navigation Project (BSNP) – South Structures Repair. The solicitation will close on or about 30 June 2020. The 2019 floods caused significant damage to the Missouri River BSNP structures. The damaged structures include revetments, dikes, kickers, L-head dikes and vanes. These structures are critical to maintaining a navigation channel on the Missouri River. The damaged BSNP structures will be rehabilitated by adding stone to replace areas of deterioration. In areas with substantial loss of structural material, the work will effectively rebuild parts of the structure. The quantity of stone for each site is intended to bring the structures to the lines and grades shown on the cross-sections. Due to the location of these structures, it is anticipated that the stone will be placed from a barge. The BSNP South project location extends from River Mile 563 to 498 on the Missouri River in Nebraska and Missouri. Construction Duration will be 450 Calendar Days. Estimated Magnitude of Construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Solicitation documents will be posted to the web via Beta SAM.gov (beta.sam.gov).
