This is a non-personal services contract to provide personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to perform the refurbishment of the two (2) , two stage, unwatering pumps as defined in this performance work statement (PWS). The work shall consist of inspection, refurbishment, and shipment of the two (2) CH Wheeler 10x12, two stage vertical unwatering pumps. The Government will remove the pumps from service and partially disassemble the pumps for shipment to the Contractor's facility/shop. The Government will create the crating needed to ship the pumps to the Contractor's facility. The refurbished pumps shall be crated by the Contractor and the Contractor shall package the pumps in order to sufficiently protect the pumps from damage in shipment to the Government. The Contractor is responsible for coordinating the shipping logistics to and from their refurbishment facility. One pump shall be removed, shipped, refurbished, and returned prior to the second pump being removed for refurbishment (i.e. the pumps are to be refurbished one at a time). The second pump will not be removed and sent to the Contractor's facility until the first pump is accepted and installed at Fort Peck.
