IFB SOLICITATION On or about 02 JULY 2019, the Government intends to issue a solicitation for "Pierce - North Branch Elkhorn Levee Rehabilitation Project". The solicitation will close on 01 AUGUST 2019. The solicitation is (Restricted to Small Businesses and Local Area set-aside IAW the Stafford Act). Site Visit: A Site Visit will be scheduled and additional information regarding the site visit will be provided in the solicitation via FAR Clause 52.236-27. The site visit is scheduled for 09 JULY 2019. Project Description: This project will repair damages that occurred to the Pierce - North Branch Elkhorn River Right Bank Levee System during the March 2019 flood event. Repair actions will primarily consist of erosion repair, rutting repair, and levee surfacing and seeding. This work will also include bringing in fill and borrow material from a pre-determined site, haul road development, and clearing of debris as necessary to complete the repair actions. The Contractor will be required to commence work upon receipt of contract award and complete the work 60 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, this is subject to change after solicitation issuance. Estimated Construction Costs: The estimated construction cost of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. NAICS Code: The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for solicitation is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a size standard for Small Business of $36.5M.
