THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, QUOTATION OR BID. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District is conducting market research to identify sources (Small Businesses and Other-than-Small Businesses) that have the knowledge, skills and capability to perform the work concerning the potential project described below. Responses are requested only from: POTENTIAL PRIME CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS WITH COMPANY BONDING CAPABILITY (SINGLE JOB) OF AT LEAST $50M. The responses to this sources sought announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions for this project. Project Description: Special Operations Command, North Theater Operations Support Facility (SOCNORTH TSOF), Peterson AFB, Colorado This is a design build project. This project is to construct a Special Operations, Command Support Facility. The project comprises of a multi-story facility with a secure area for administrative, operations and maintenance, and storage to support the Special Operations Command function. Facility will be constructed of precast concrete panels with exterior metal cladding to match adjoining Command Complex area. Antenna farm will be provided on elevated platform on roof. Backup generator and protected distribution system will be provided for command and control systems. The scope of this project also includes the demolition of Building 104 (1,784 SM) and associated temporary facilities constructed interim to the Military Construction. Facilities will be designed as permanent construction. The requirements include a secured area, non-standard space allocation to integrate Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence systems, and robust audio/visual teleconferencing capability. This project will provide command and control, administrative, deployment, storage, and maintenance space. Submission Details: All interested, capable, qualified (under NAICS code 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction) and responsive contractors are encouraged to reply to this market survey request. Interested PRIME CONTRACTORS ONLY should submit a narrative demonstrating their experience in construction projects of similar nature as described above. Narratives shall be no longer than 10 pages.
