NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District is conducting market research to identify sources (Small Businesses and Other-than-Small Businesses) that have the knowledge, skills and capability to perform the work concerning the potential project described below. The responses to this sources sought announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions for this project. Responses are to be sent via email to lauren.a.levy@usace.army.mil no later than 2:00 p.m. CST, 8 May 2019. Project Description: Supply and install nine 250 AMP High Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) filters in Building 1000 on Offutt AFB, NE. Filters shall be installed on the existing HEMP shield. The contractor will be expected to remove seven existing filters and install the new filters in their place. The remaining two filters will be installed in the locations of other 250 AMP filters that were previously removed for testing. All newly installed filters will be connected to the HEMP facility power supply by a licensed electrician. Filters must meet the requirements of MIL-STD-188-125-1 including both Acceptance Testing and Verification Testing as established in the standard to allow for certification of the USSTRATCOM C2F. Submission Details: All interested, capable, qualified (under NAICS code 334515) and responsive contractors are encouraged to reply to this market survey request. Narratives shall be no longer than 10 pages. Email responses are required.
