On or about 20 February 2019, this office will issue a Request for Quotes for Noxious Weed Spraying Services. This will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity services contract to provide chemical weed control services on lands administered by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Gavins Point Project. Services include chemically controlling noxious weeds and other undesirable vegetation. This is a requirements service contract with both Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Time and Materials (T&M) pricing arrangements. Under this contract, noxious weeds, invasive species, and/or other undesirable vegetation will be controlled in natural areas to maintain existing native wildlife habitat. The period of performance shall be for one (1) Base Year of 12 months and two (2) 12-month option years from 01 May 2019 to 30 April 2022. The work to be performed under this contract will occur at North Alabama Bend, near Vermillion, SD 57069, in Clay County and at Audubon Bend, near Wynot, NE 68792, in Cedar County. This solicitation is 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. The government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the contractor who, in turn is responsible to the government. The Contractor shall ensure that each completed service will meet the requirements of this contract as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS)which shall be included in the solicitation. . All services shall be completed during the specified day and time, unless otherwise specified or as directed by the COR. Representations and certifications are required to be updated annually as a minimum to keep information current, accurate and complete. The electronic annual representations and certifications are effective until one year from date of submission or update to SAM.
