On or about 2 August 2019, this office will issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the Sanitary Sewer, Wilderness Road, Fort Carson, Colorado. The solicitation will close on or about 3 September 2019. This solicitation is ONLY for Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB). A site visit for the project will be held. Provisions in the solicitation documents will provide detailed information (meeting place, time, points of contact, and access requirements). See SITE VISIT in solicitation Section 00 21 00. DO NOT submit requests for plans and specifications to the site visit personnel listed. See ‘Obtaining Solicitation Documents' below. Project Description: (Approx. quantities) This project is to construct a new sanitary sewer line to support existing facilities along Wilderness Road and Gate 6. Approximately 10,000 feet of new sanitary sewer line along with 27 new manholes are to be installed. New sanitary sewer lines to be installed range in size from 4 to 12 inches in diameter. Directional bores are to be used on all road crossings. There are multiple utilities crossings which will require the relocation of some existing utilities. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $1,000,000 and $4,000,000. GSA Policy requires submission of an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized Entity Administrator for the entity associated with the Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number before the registration will be activated.
