The Government intends to procure a WAVES 10 compatible mass notification system for the Command and Control Facility (C2F), a standalone complex on Fort Shafter, Oahu, Hawaii. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Honolulu District is seeking alternate software/products/sources compatible with, or capable of replacing, the WAVES 10 system developed by Cooper Notification. The alternate software/product/source must meet the following requirements/specifications: 1. Complies with UFC 4-021-01 Design and OMN: Mass Notification Systems (MNS) and OSHA 1910.165. 2. Functional with the existing radio controlled wide area mass notification system, i.e., WAVES System. 3. Can provide remote voice notification messages within a facility via the facility's fire alarm/mass notification system. This is NOT a Request for Proposal and does not constitute any commitment by the Government. Interested parties with a compatible software/products meeting the requirements described in this announcement are invited to submit complete information and specifications. Any information provided to the Government in response to this Request for Information (RFI) will become U.S. Government property and will not be returned. All proprietary or classified information will be treated appropriately.
