This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the US Army Corp of Eningeers Little Rock District's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to SMFS, Inc. dba GRIMM (cage: 6TWH6) under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. Contractor shall provide a hydro-plant cyber range and associated control system, a replica of a lock chamber and associated control system, model dam and spillway system with the associated control system, and replica of a water treatment plant and associated control system. The scope of the project is defined by the delivery of a 5’ x 6’ Hydropower simulation system. It will consist of a pump controlled via VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) which will flow water through a Pelton Wheel. The Pelton Wheel output will feed through a step- up transformer and move to a simulated distribution “switchyard”. All necessary breakers and safeties will be provided as well as indicator lights and an HMI (Human Machine Interface) with output monitoring and control function.
