This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the US Army Corp of Eningeers Little Rock District's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Pigler Automation, LLC (CAGE: 6FSA3) of Longmont, Colorado. This requirement is for: Providing 400 hours of off-site consultation services to include all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision and other items and non-personnel services necessary to perform SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system maintenance support. Services objectives include providing guidance for any system changes to the Little Rock District SCADA System as needed. The contractor shall provide consultation services for the SCADA system at all (7) project sites by standard telephone support service for the installed SCADA system. Period of performance will be a one-year base period with four, one-year option periods. Pursuant to 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) FAR 6.302-1 -- Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Pilger Automation, LLC is the only vendor capable of meeting the Little Rock District's requirement. The notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
