Pre-Solicitation NoticePotable Water and Sewage Piping Rehabilitation, Norfork Powerhouse U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Little Rock DistrictW9127S23B0001, Potable Water and Sewage Piping Rehabilitation at Norfork Powerhouse, will be advertised using Full and Open Competition under the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. The small business size standard is set at $39,500,000. This solicitation will be issued utilizing FAR Part 14 as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bids will be evaluated and will result in a firm fixed-price construction contract. The Magnitude of Construction is between $250,000.00 and $750,000.00.The work includes the replacement of hot and cold potable water piping, sewage piping, and certain HVAC and shower/sink drainage piping; demolition of obsolete equipment including water heaters, large septic tank, and piping; replacement of water heaters; asbestos abatement; lead-based paint abatement; insulating; Cured-in-Place-Pipe (CIPP); and incidental related work. Unless otherwise noted, Contractor shall perform minor electrical work required to repair conduit and wiring where damaged or removed for access and shall provide upsized wiring where existing powered components, such as water heaters, are replaced with upsized units requiring more power than existing.W9127S23B0001 will be issued around October 14, 2022, via piee.eb.mil and www.sam.gov.
