PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE POWER PLANT ELEVATOR INSTALLATION NORFORK POWER PLANT MOUNTAIN HOME PROJECT OFFICE U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS (USACE) W9127S20R0003, Power Plant Elevator Installation, will be advertised as a Total Small Business Set-Aside under the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 238290, Other Building Equipment Contractors. The small business size standard is set at $16,500,000.00. This solicitation will be issued, utilizing FAR Part 15, as a Request for Proposals (RFP). Proposals will be evaluated via the Best Value- Trade Off method, and will result in a firm fixed-price construction contract. The Magnitude of Construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The requirement being procured under this solicitation includes design and engineering services and installation of an electric traction type freight elevator that will service four floor levels. Additional work includes asbestos abatement work, on-site lead paint removal, and assessment of the existing dam elevator, along with all other incidental work. W9127S20R0003 will be issued on or about Wednesday, April 22, 2020, via the new Government Point of Entry (GPE), Beta.SAM.gov. Amendments to the solicitation will be issued via the GPE as well.
