This is a Sources Sought notice, not a Request for Quote/Proposal. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to identify businesses capable of performing Herbicide Application Services and Timber Marking Services for Department of Defense (DOD) property in two locations of Mississippi. Offerors should respond with capability to perform one or all services below. Herbicide Application – Camp McCain Training Center, Grenada, MS 38901 Shortleaf pine restoration 115 acres by hack and squirt method Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certificate required. Herbicide Application – Camp Shelby Joint Force Training Center, Hattiesburg, MS 39407 Longleaf pine restoration 239 acres Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certificate required. Timber Marking – Camp McCain Training Center, Grenada, MS 38901 Forest management activity 100 acres Contractor shall be a licensed registered forester in Mississippi. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI will be treated as business confidential information. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Offerors are solely responsible for all expense associated with responding to this RFI. Request all offerors capable of providing one or all of these services respond with Company Name, Point of Contract (POC) email/telephone number, business size (large or small), socio-economic classifications (SDB, SDVOSB, WOSB, HubZone, etc.), as well as company capabilities.
