USCG Station at Cape Disappointment
This market-research Sources Sought seeks industry input and capability statements from large and small businesses, including small disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB/EDWOSB, SDVOSB, and VOSB firms, for planned repair and upgrade work at the USCG Station at Cape Disappointment. The approximate project value is $50M to $100M. The work is intended to restore and retain full mission readiness at a station on an unstable sandbar, addressing failing dock structures, an inoperable sediment-impacted vessel haul-out facility, and rockfall hazards above engineering and maintenance buildings. Scope includes rockfall mitigation, waterfront dock and pile repairs/replacement, haul-out replacement, and coastal resilience/sedimentation remediation using surveys, modeling, nature-based solutions, dynamic revetments, offshore breakwaters/sills, and beneficial reuse of dredged sediment. The government is also seeking input on design-build and progressive design-build delivery, phasing to maintain dock operations, constructability, and possible interim repairs.
