Columbia River Pile Dike King Pile Markers
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, is seeking contractors capable of driving approximately 45 steel piles (18-24 inches in diameter) at various locations along the Columbia River between River Mile 30 and 120. The work includes installing signage atop each pile and providing 20-25 cubic yards of rock scour protection per pile using controlled dumping methods. The in-water work window is from October 1, 2027, to November 30, 2027, with vibratory hammer driving allowed in October and November, and impact hammer driving limited to November only.
