This is a sources sought notice for the rehabilitation of the headgate repair pit at Bonneville Dam’s Powerhouse 1 on the Columbia River, near the Oregon shore. The project involves constructing support systems, platforms, stairs, and installing utilities, ventilation, fire detection, lighting, and a jib crane to enable safe headgate maintenance. The estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000, with the government intending to advertise by the second quarter of FY27 and award a contract around May 2027, with completion by the end of the third quarter of FY28. The work includes minor concrete demolition and modifications to provide a secondary egress, and all systems must meet ASHRAE, OSHA, and EM-385-1-1 standards.
