The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers plans to award a noncompetitive firm-fixed-price contract to the Nez Perce Tribe by 30 September 2026. This contract will mitigate adverse effects to four Historic Properties of Religious and Cultural Significance located within The Dalles and John Day Dam Operating Projects. The work involves expanding an existing ArcGIS StoryMap to include these four Traditional Cultural Properties (TCPs) with photos, descriptions, and traditional practices. The project requires technical expertise and access to confidential information held exclusively by the Nez Perce Tribe. No budget amount is specified, and performance will occur at the locations of the four TCPs along the middle Columbia River.
