National Register of Historic Places Determination of Eligibility for Lower Deschutes River Area
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers plans to award a noncompetitive firm fixed-price contract to the Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Reservation of Oregon (CTWSRO) for compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act. The contractor will compile a National Register of Historic Places eligibility determination for the Lower Deschutes River Area, including documentation of traditional cultural properties on a National Park Service form with GIS data. The work also requires a letter report on one archaeological site and an updated site form. Performance requires unique access to confidential CTWSRO information, with no known alternatives possessing the necessary tribal knowledge. The contract is intended to be awarded before 30 September 2026.
